Due to the characteristics of the material wood, each piece of natural veneer or wood may have a different texture and color indicative of its natural origin.
European oak, grain structure:
- Flader – a varied wood grain having numerous rings, knots, forming original patterns.
- Striped – the most even wood grain, straight lines running along the grain.
- Shine – takes the form of bright, undersized fragments on the surface of the wood, are concentrated core rays. It is sometimes mistakenly perceived as a defect, a loss of coloration, however, it represents the noblest of drawings.
